Long rant!

Ok, I just don't understand this. I recently met someone in SL whom I like a lot and who seemed to like me. We chatted and seemed to enjoy each other's company. We met just three times and our conversations seemed to be going well. We "Friended" each other and she seemed pleased to do so. On our 4th meeting, a sim-to-sim conversation, she just stopped talking and her name vanished from my "Friends" list. I have no idea what I did to cause this.
My point is that if we "friend" someone, then feel that we did so too hastily, or if they offend us in some way, we should have the decency to tell that person what the problem is and give them the chance to apologize. Sure, still end the friendship, but what rudeness it is, and how hurtful, to just drop a person. Some people just don't understand that we have all the same feelings here in SL that we have in RL, and yes, men have feelings too!
