Seuss was thrilled. She loved living up north, even with the cold weather. The Torvi women welcomed her into the fold and Seuss felt content with their way of life...except for the hard labour.

Zale had become a public Slaver of Ar and he was away for long periods. And Zale was right about Tharna, a slave named Tarl led a successful revolution. All silver masks were taken and melted down into silver collars. All women now entering Tharna are now enslaved.

Despite their deep admiration and respect for each other, they were on different paths. They would not renew their contract and for the first time in her life; Seuss was alone, without a homestone. Lost and disillusioned, she sought out the solace of her dearest friend in Tazberg.

Seuss would then spend a number of years sourcing, buying and renovating various inns along the vosk.
