I used to work at a Walmart supercenter that I have come to call, the Hell Walmart.

The entire store was arranged the opposite of how every other Walmart supercenter I've ever been in (5) was arranged. At the time I worked they had people jumping from department to department in the store, so I was pretty much familiar with every corner of the store.

I went to work early in the mornings, I didn't mind since I was a night owl. One day I was stocking the dairy section and I heard and felt what I could only describe as an elevator below me. The low drum of a pulley system moving the elevator and the vibrations of something being hoisted on the floor below me. Months later I read a story about a tunnel system being discovered under a walmart, in another city, that criminals trafficked people through during the superbowl. Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself in a couple of days.
