Lots of people come to Second Life to escape from the heart break & bullshit of RL. But is SL so diff? Yes or no? Because your feelings are real, the love you give to someone is real, the pain is real. And those feelings, pain, thoughts then carry into your RL. People can & will hurt you in SL. Especially when they don't have to look at you. All they have to do is drop their bomb, click the x & move on. Cowardly? yes, but who's to say you haven't done it yourself. So do this. Stop & think. There is a real person behind each & everyone of these avatars. Treat them like you would like to be treated. If you do that & they still do it back, don't stop. Don't lose faith. Don't be like them. Cause they hurt, & they want to spread their pain by causing it. At least if you do your best, do right, & stand tall & proud, you have nothing to be ashamed about & ppl will see that. Maybe then they'll do the same. ~
