This is supposed to be scary? They're all a joke. Look at the ones behind them, don't even have an AO, and they are the "elites" of that bromidic wrestling community? So that garishis accepted but TRUE TALENT was not only ignored but rejected? No wonder it's a quickly dying community
It is not dying out fast enough if you ask me. I am so tired by their constant drama and how they spread lies about those they drove away from SL. I am tired of their hypocracy towards those who are new or men. I am tired of how they kiss each others asses and then talk behind each others backs.... I am away from that scene. I will not let them ruin my passion for wrestling, roleplay or creativity. This bunch of guttersnipes can go where the sun doesn't shine..... and i am NOT talking about London
I agree and in some ways I disagree with you. I am not for the blatant sexism against men either. To be honest my proclivities are far more inclined towards men myself BUT...as open as I am or rather was to mixed wrestling, many of my experiences with these boys have been so discouraging I won't continue to indulge in mixed wrestling. A lot of this community is packed with liars, hypocrites, people who steal ideas and call them their "own". People trying to compensate for a pitiful real life
Oh i do not say that there are a bunch of lazy airheads of guys out there... I had my own share of that. But the rejection of all who just want to visit an event or even TRY OUT a mat before buying it. Conspiring against those who allowed mixed matches on events and the general favoritism towards their own "elite" is so annoying. As happy as i was about finding a wrestlng community in second life... as disillusioned i am now about it. The SL wrestling scene almost ruined my enjoyment of the RP around it.
So then what? Do we sit here and keep complaining about it? or do we become the catalyst for change? do we bring together those alienated and discriminated against, and become the genesis of something new, inclusive, better than what the previous wrestling community ever was?. If all these people were just as open minded and accepting of others, I feel like we could all put together something FAR superior to what's out there right now. The offer is there
I am out of that scene for good. I will keep it to myself, my personal experience and simply let it be. I have no desire to get involved in the drama and such. I will stick to my friends, my personal experience and let those snakes die out. Let them EOA themselves into oblivion. I will not allow SL to poison my passion for wrestling. I am out and i will stay out. I will boycott divas and everything around it. THAT is what i will stick to.
I don't really know that you could blame just Divas for this culture of ignorance and for promoting such a swallow minded and sexist behavior towards the guys. A lot of the guys have brought it on themselves to be honest, but it isn't fair to brush all of them well accepting the few couple because they grovel for acceptance. I mean BLD is also huge in pushing this anti-male mindset. But if you rather let those people win, okay. They tried to discourage and push me out. Nope. If anything I'm thriving!
