Hear our voices in the desert air, hear our braying everywhere. We are the voices in the night, songs to the sky in pale moonlight. I call for you, you call for me, we are voices from history.
What is a Desert Canary ? It describes the sound heard in the desert of wild burros calling to one another. In the West miners also would call their longeared partners Rocky Mountain Canaries
