2. Personal slaves were private property. If you screwed with, or punished Tarl's slaves, you died. Tarl would not even let Samos, friend and well known slaver to punish a slave he owned.

3. Honor carried more weight than steel.

4. There was no universal laws on Gor. Each land, each city and village was ruled by their own laws.

5. Gor was not at war all the time with every city and town.

6. Masters often loved their slaves and sometimes called them friend. But it brought them no special treatment, nor was kindness...weakness.

7. FW knew their place or were collared by a strong Master.

8. Runaway slaves were never returned unless capped by panthers.
