I keep my Second Life Friends List intentionally small because I find it mentally taxing to manage it as a 'contacts' list. I only include people I’m actively speaking to or working with on a near-daily basis. It’s easy enough to look people up if I need to. I also regularly remove people due to inactivity, lack of response to my messages, or the need for some long-term distance because of real-life issues. This doesn’t mean I dislike anyone or want nothing to do with them; it simply means I don’t need to be actively involved with them. If anyone wants to reconnect, they’re welcome to reach out calmly and with understanding, and I’m open to returning to an active state in Second Life.
