They forget the fundamentals:

When they accepts, your leash, it's not just about control.
When they accepts you as their Sir, it's not just about the words.

It's about trust, mutual trust.

They are yours, you are their world.
There is a universe in their eyes, worlds to explore and conquer.

But make no mistake, claiming worlds mean they claim you as well.

"You are mine" is not just a phrase.

If you fear they're going to run off with every Dom that looks their way, you're the cause.
This is about your insecurities, not their behavior, fix yourself not them.
If you feel the need to control everything they are doing, you're the issue.
This is about you again, not them. You feel you have no control in life, then take control of it.
If you feel you can't trust them, then stop dragging them along and release them.
You aren't worthy of them.
