'Statue "The Man"' created by oldjohn Linden. The oldest object in-world Second Life, created July 19, 2002.
Phillip's Hill, Natoma (61, 204, 40): "The Man" statue is one of the only surviving objects from the original "Linden Town" area that was developed in Second Life during the earliest Alpha stage of its develeopment. At times, "The Man" has served as a shrine where miscellaneous offerings were left. And a celebration of the creativity SL was founded upon.
Around "The Man" are various places to see like the public hangout spot "Ivory Tower Library of Primitives Sandbox" and the "Ivory Tower Library of Primitives" which is a tutorial place how to start building with prims! And "The Free Bazaar" which is a place where you can get for the start a lot of fun objects!
