These are my thoughts on different SL stuff

- Texting
I prefer sentences and full words most of the time. I don't get crazy over it though, for example I very rarely use capital letters, so who am i to be overly judgemental lol

- Avatars
I have put a lot of effort into my avatar, it makes me happy, but also because it reflects on how I represent someone I am with. Likewise I feel the person I am with is a reflection on me, so please look your best! I'm more than happy to give honest feedback and helpful tips, and even go shopping with you, it's fun and exciting to do so.

- Profiles
Your profile isn't to show off who you are so much as to give others things to talk with you about. So if you have a blank profile, you better be ready to keep the conversation going becaue you've given me nothing to ask or talk to you about. I'll happily respond to anything you bring up, but I'm not great at creating interesting topics out of thin air.
