We've known each other for over a decade and to this day, I can't think of the words to do you justice.

The two of us have come so far, Hawky. From saving me when I got stood up waaaaay back in '09, to discovering the mad empathetic connection between us, the enduring love that grew with every moment spent together, all the way to finally admitting that it was time to call it quits permanently and "just" be friends.

I can't imagine us ever being "just" anything though. Sure, we haven't been lovers in a long time, but you are still so much a part of my soul. When you sing, the earth stops moving and time reverses on itself.

And though there's a distance between us now, that was never there before... I would go through hell for you, my Hawk, my Dellyboy. And no matter where life takes us. I will love you until my final breath.
