At an early age, Stef would often listen to music in the backseat of his father's car, where not only did he and his father share a bond over it, but it also left a lasting effect on him, so much, that he knew he had to pursue a life in the industry. From this moment onward, he had an insatiable desire to learn about anything and everything having to do with music. It is in his blood and has become an indispensable part of his life. Step one in making this dream come true was buying a DJ controller and starting to experiment at the age of 12. After many hours of practice, Grounded has mastered spinning. Not only was his talent growing, also his passion and ambition. He picked up the sound of the harder dance genres listening to artists such as D-Block & S-te-fan, Coone and Fenix. At the age of 16, he started to create his own sounds and started to get into Cubase for production. Later on, he started to try his productions out at a local youth center.
